The British Motorcycle club of Tasmania is again conducting the ever popular Tassie Tour.  The Vintage / Classic Motorcycle rally in Tasmania from the 3rd to the 14th of March 2024 . Open to all pre 1970 motorcycles, you will enjoy 10 Nights and 11 Days of some of the best motorcycle roads and scenery in the Country. For those who have done this fantastic rally previously, this tour opens up new areas not previously ridden but also includes those roads that make this rally so popular.
	Numbers are strictly limited to 100 bikes for logistics reasons (accommodation and catering limits) so get those expressions of interest in early to avoid disappointment as the rally fills fast and is always greatly oversubscribed.   The Rally starts and finishes in Ulverstone, close to where the Spirit of Tasmania ferry docks. Assistance will be given to those who wish to leave vehicles and/or trailers in Melbourne or Ulverstone for the duration of the rally. Although the itinerary is yet to be finalised the tour will see us travelling down the fabulous East Coast to Hobart and Southern areas of the State before heading back up the West and North Coasts to return to Ulverstone. We will typically travel between 150 and 250 kilometers each day, all on bitumen and mostly easy going for Vintage bikes.
	Please Note - The committee advises that due to the hilly, narrow  and winding nature of Tassie's roads,   a well-developed level of riding skill is recommended. There will be ample time allotted for each days ride so take your time, enjoy the scenery and arrive safe. Tasmania's climate is also unpredictable at times and wet weather may well be encountered at some stage of the tour so be prepared. Accommodation details will be forwarded at a later date along with a detailed itinerary of where we will be staying each night. This will range from Caravan Parks to Motels with indicative prices provided. You will then be able to book the accommodation of your choice from our recommended sites. To secure your place on the rally a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each person on the rally (including pillions) will be required. This can be deposited via EFT to the bank account detailed on the expression of interest page. This deposit will be deducted from your rally fee. Fees for the 2024 Tassie Tour are $300 per motorcycle with rider, Pillions or accompanying persons are an additional $100. You will be forwarded all the rally information, brochures, route map, accommodation booking info etc as the rally draws closer.
